We are pleased to announce the premiere of our first commission by the renowned American composer Martin Bresnick, Going Home, a Meet The Composer commission. The world premiere of this new oboe quartet will be part of our American Music Project on September 26, 2010, at The Old Stone House in Brooklyn, a historic American landmark. This concert is made possible with generous support from Meet The Composer, the Jarvis and Constance Doctorow Family Foundation, New York Women Composers, individual donors, and with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
