Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair

Double Entendre Music Ensemble will make its third annual appearance at the Holiday Fair in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall. We will perform carols and other festive seasonal favorites from around the world on Sunday Dec 6 and Sunday Dec 13 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM both days. Many of these selections are included on our CD, "A Christmas Reeding", which will be available for purchase at these appearances for $15.

2010 Concerts Announced

Double Entendre Music Ensemble will perform several concerts in 2010. Highlights from the upcoming year are: July 24th 7:30PM at Grace Memorial Chapel on Sabbath Day Point, Lake George; Sep 26th World Premiere of Martin Bresnick's "Going Home" at the Old Stone House, Brooklyn; Nov 20th 7:30PM at Hartwick College, Oneonta NY; and Nov 21st 3:00PM for the Friends of Music in Stamford, NY

Past Events 2009

Wednesday, August 19, 3pm-5pm, Concert in Penn Station

On Wednesday, August 19th from 3pm until 5pm, Double Entendre Music Ensemble performed in Penn Station. The concert, part of the MTA's Music Under New York program, took place in front of the McDonald's which is near the 7th Ave end of the concourse, adjacent to the LIRR ticket windows.

Monday, August 3, 6:45pm-7:30pm, Concert in Central Park at the Naumberg Bandshell

On Monday, August 3rd from 6:45pm until 7:30pm, Double Entendre Music Ensemble performed in Central Park's Naumberg Bandshell. The Naumberg Bandshell is a lovely performance space made of stone. To find it, enter Central Park at 72nd street from either the east or west side, and walk toward the center of the park, just south of the Bethesda Fountain.

Wednesday, July 15, 4pm-6pm, Concert in Grand Central Terminal

On Wednesday, July 15th from 4pm until 6pm, Double Entendre Music Ensemble performed at Grand Central Terminal's Graybar Passage, which is the northern hallway leading to Lexington Ave.

Friday, June 5, 8pm, Benefit Concert at Calvary Church

On Friday, June 5th at 8pm, Double Entendre Music Ensemble performed a benefit concert at Calvary Church 277 Park Avenue South (21st Street near Gramercy Park) in Manhattan. All donations at the concert went to Calvary Church's Homeless Projects.

Thursday, June 4, 6:30pm, Free Concert in Bennett Park

On Thursday, June 4th at 6:30pm, Double Entendre Music Ensemble presented a free outdoor concert in Washington Heights on the lawn of Bennett Park, located at 184th and Ft. Washington Avenue in Manhattan.

Saturday, March 7, 4-6pm, Winter Soiree Fundraiser

On Saturday, March 7 from 4-6pm, Double Entendre Music Ensemble held a Winter Soiree Fundraiser in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
